Leaf and Walnut Shell, 11 x 14 (inches), water color on cotton paper, 2008-11-14Last weekend mywife, children, and I went to a state park in Arkansas. We rented a cabin built by the CCC. It was wonderful - mostly great family time. We missed the fall colors, so I painted a leaf and walnut shell combination. Amy made the composition (she is better at this that I am) and I painted it.

Hmmm--this is my second attempt to comment. Your blog is missing my favorite piece of your artwork. Please feel free to enter the house and take a picture of your artwork on my wall so that you can post it!
And a comment from one of your "older" readers--you need to make the text brighter against the dark background. It is currently hard for "old" eyes to decipher. ha!
PS Megan seems to really enjoy snowy Pennsylvania scenes. Is she really a Texan.
