I am a strong Christian with fundamental beliefs (Jesus died for my sins, I am saved by grace, the Bible is the inerrant word of God). By day, I am blessed with a job that I enjoy and an income that provides for my family. On my own time I serve God, spend time with my family (wife and kids), and if there is any time left over, I paint. My favorite past time is travel – which dovetails well with my painting.
I have wanted to post my thoughts and artwork for some time. I am new to blogging, but I thought this might be a good (and hopefully easy) way to accomplish this.

11 x 14 (inch) oil painting on hardboard. This was gift to my niece.
Cross 03
16 x 20 (inch) oil on canvas. This is a painting I gave to our church to raise money for the youth mission trip to Mexico. To my surprise, someone actual paid good money for it. I wanted the cross to look like a folds in a cloth. Although I did not initially plan it this way, the reddish smears below the sides of the cross look like the shed blood of our Savior.

11 x 14 (inch) oil painting on canvas. I painting of our dog (she is the best). I gave this painting to my wife for Christmas.

8 x 10 (inch) oil on canvas (mounted cardboard). I did a small series of fruit.
